Turkcell Vadi Theatre Days, Istanbul's youngest and newest stage, opened with the grand master Şener Şen. The play, which was staged on the evening of September 24, was Anadolu Efes: Rich Kitchen, which brought Şener Şen back to the stage 14 years later. The play is also of great importance as it takes place in the first play played by the great master at the Istanbul City Theatre, after 40 years. Written by Vasıf Öngören in 1977, Zengin Mutfağı presented the events that took place in the kitchen of a wealthy family mansion during Turkey's great workers' protests on 15-16 June 1970. At the end of the play, Gizem Ergün, Onay Kaya, Uğur Arda President and Kutay Sandıkçı, who gave life to Şener Şen and the other characters in the mansion, received a standing ovation.
